Susan Nkengasong joined Rumph on September 27, 2021, as a Partner Engagement Specialist at CDC-Ethiopia in Addis Ababa. Her role entails providing technical support to both the CDC-Ethiopia Immunization team, as well as the CDC Atlanta routine immunizations team. Prior to joining Rumph, Susan worked as a public health consultant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In her role, she served as a key member in the formulation and implementation of the first designathon for HIV self-testing in Nigeria. Susan has a Masters degree in Clinical Counselling from Mercer University, Atlanta, Georgia and a Bachelors degree in Social Sciences from Katholieke University (KU) Leuven in Belgium. Susan’s main hobbies and interests are dancing Zumba, cooking African food, and mentoring and coaching couples who are married but do not understand what marriage entails.
